TubbyFc vs Clear Your Head Fc
This afternoon seen the last game of the season for TubbyFC Down at St Benedicts RUFC. We answered the call to help the clear your head fc who play up at Copeland stadium on a Wednesday evenings. In a nutshell they needed to raise some funds to simply keep going and keeping the lifeline for their lads going. So TubbyFC agreed to do what we do and arranged a game to help raise funds for them. The game started brightly from both teams before Liam Elliott opened the scoring midway through the first half. Shortly after Liam bagged a second. Michael peat made it 3-0 before half time.
Onto midway through the second half TubbyFC’s Eric Parkin put him self on much to the delight of of those on tubby hill. 😂 quote of the day take ya handbrake off from his daughter 😂😂😂 . it was clear your head Fc shortly after who opened the scoring through a loose ball from a corner not dealt with that found Peter Smith to put it past the TubbyFC keeper.
Shortly after Liam Elliot put egga through who was forced into breaking into a sprint if ya can call it that 🤣 to knock it past the defender and over the keeper. Shirt come off and omg think the referee gave the yellow card for flashing cos it must of been cold under them skins . Them bloody nipples sight for sore eyes. 😂😂😂Cobie Mellon added a 5th goal for TubbyFC before Dean Kevin Campbell scored from the spot for clear ya head fc. Celebrated like he scored in the last minute the fa cup final. Yellow card followed for shirt coming off. Cobie Mellon finished the scoring for the afternoon making it 6-2.
TubbyFC helped raise over £300 on the day through donations to keep them going until
At least November.
TubbyFC also donated them the red kit which hopefully them can put to good use.

TubbyFc vs The Whittington Cat
This years TubbyFc vs The Whittington Cat annual charity game trophy is a shared affair after a 2-2 draw last night down at St Benedicts RUFC. Besty last game as a player seen him score from the penalty spot with Phil Hanna levelling up. TubbyFC took the lead again in the second half though Liam Elliott but it was the cat levelled again through Phil Hanna . A Guard of honour followed for besty and trophy presentation for both captains
Following on in the club there was a raffle with some amazing prizes. Massive thanks goes out to all businesses and individuals who donated to the cause. There is just simply to many to mention and tag.
Massive thanks to everyone who bought tickets and made donations to a very worthy charity close to the heart of many of us who were there last night. Initial indications are we all raised over the £1k mark last night which is absolutely awesome. We will announce the final figure once we pull together the final bits and pieces to come in.
Thanks to Tommy Linford for refereeing last nights game. And also all the lads who got together from the cat 👌

Bolton Talking Football

Warm up pictures from yesterday’s trip to Bolton where we played Talking Football (Pictures in the Link) . Fantastic bunch of lads who we hope will come up to Whitehaven in the next few months. Game played out as should be 2 teams going for it with a couple of exceptional goals in the first half meant it was all square at half time. TubbyFC took a hold of the game in the second half scoring twice before Talking football grabbed a second. But TubbyFC held on to bring a much needed win back up the M6 to Cumbria.
Man of match for TubbyFC was Liam Elliott
Talking football man of match went to Number 10 (not sure of the players name)
